The goal of this study is to compare microbial population in artic and alpine environement, knowing that there’s a great lack of data and fonctions in such environement of many of the implicated organisms is still unknow. Nevertheless we could expect similarities between population of microorganism in this two kind of environement, and then analyse the poor data we’ve got.
The analyses of alpine soil had been done on sample from alpine Niwot Ridge LTER site in Colorado, (near from the university where the article has been written) for this part they did a complete study of alpin tundra’s microorganism, and studied too alpine talus, They found interesting deed about bacterial population, and forsee to descover new speices of eucharia. The data about artic ground came from previous studies one done in Canada or siberia on diferant kind of places and diferant methods. About artic soil, information on Archa and Echaria are crually missing. One of the reason of the lack of data is that it was thouk there was no microbial activity in snow covered ground.
